Encarta Online
     The Encarta Concise Encyclopedia offers unlimited free searching.   The Encarta Deluxe Encyclopedia is free for 30 days.
Encyclopedia Britannica Online
     Contains 72,000 articles and 12,000 images.  Subscriptions are $5 a month with a free one week trial.  Britannica Online is free to all USC students and faculty.
TechEncyclopedia
     The CMP technology network offers a number of resources including technology news, product reviews, and over 14,000 definitions of computer terms and concepts.

International Data Base (IDB)
     The U.S. Census Bureau International Programs Center contains demographic and socio-economic data and statistics for 227 countries and areas of the world.

     Federal statistics from more than 100 government agencies.
Global Statistics
